"This is Not Your
Daddy's Karate!"
STRENGTH - COURAGE -
HUMILITY
Each class is uniquely different addressing the questions and
needs of the students that show up. Situations are created
to push you out of your "comfort zone" where real
growth takes place...
There are no uniforms, belt, rituals, or
"pre-arranged" techniques. The goal is to move
like a normal person without all the baggage that comes along
with trying to be "tough" that creates stress/tension,
slows you down, and destroys your body's ability to react
genuinely.

October Schedule:
Wow it has been quite a busy year as we wind down into
the fall and it's not over yet!
We have been working with the Fourth
Street United Methodist Church in Louisville to
secure a "winter" location for us to train
in as the days get shorter and the weather more questionable...
This transition will take place here in the next month
or so as we work out the details...

an e-mail to let you know when this happens...

We don't use pads or punching bags because you will never
understand how to hit or be hit if you do. We
train on the concrete or grass because training on mats is
like training with a "friend that lies to you." What
do you do outside of training if you fall and there is no
mat? You study the principles of your own body
movement, your fear reaction to a situation (any situation)
and develop your own style. This leads you to a natural
understanding of where to strike an opponent "relaxing
their tension" and collapsing their structure. |

Philosophy: Making you, your family, and your country stronger, safer, and more secure; where you train in a positive, ego-less environment to grow and push your limits finding out who you really are and then improving on that.
